It was like magic.
I quickly realized that to fully utilize the darkroom's potential, I also needed to learn how to take better photos.
Now, almost 30 years later, the camera is still a faithful companion, and it has been an exciting journey.
I have run my own portrait studio and won several awards in the annual competition of the Norwegian Photographers Association for professional photographers.
Now, I have returned to my roots with fine art photography.
Even though many of the photos may seem spontaneous, I often spend a lot of time telling a story; Light, location, story, photographic craftsmanship, and composition are important elements that make a photograph good.

That is when it truly transforms from being a fleeting digital file to something lasting, something that can bring you joy for many years to come.
