He had seen the canyon in all its colors and seen the sun and moon rise and set. The tree was a place of rest and peace for all who visited it. Many people came to him to gather their thoughts and be inspired by the beauty of the canyon. One day, however, the tree was struck by lightning and fell into the canyon.
